Hardin County, TX – The two people who were killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle collision involving a tow truck in Hardin County near Silsbee have been identified as Riley Ard, 18, of Buna, and Tracyn Brady, 18, of Orangefield, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. on July 31 on Farm-to-Market Road 92 near the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 1122.
DPS said a Honda Accord was leaving a gas station parking lot when it failed to yield to a northbound tow truck and was hit.
The Honda driver, Ard, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Brady, was taken to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he later died.
Both victims were former Buna High School teens.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
