Coryell County, TX. – Romi Jolee Bomar, 18, has been identified as the woman who died in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in Coryell County.
The fatal accident happened around 10:10 a.m. on Highway 36 near Long Bridge, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Bomar was driving a 2014 Jeep eastbound on Highway 36 when she lost control at a curve, drifted into the opposite lanes, and collided head-on with a westbound Ford F-350.
Bomar, a resident of Gatesville, was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where she later died.
The driver of the F-350 was also transported to Baylor Scott & White with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
