Victoria, TX – A 73-year-old woman was killed in a head-on traffic collision in Victoria on Sunday midday, according to Texas DPS.

According to DPS, 74-year-old Randall Muegge was driving a Chevrolet Blazer northbound on N. Navarro Street when, for some reason, he crossed over the center median and collided head-on with a white Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 42-year-old Ashley Jett.

Authorities said a passenger of the Chevrolet Blazer, identified as Sandra Muegge, 73, died in the accident.
Ashley and Randall were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
No additional information was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
