Sean Morris was driving a 2019 Toyota Tundra that was rear-ended by a 2024 Ram 2500 on Intertate 20 Tuesday morning.

Crane County, TX – One man was killed and another was seriously injured following an accident involving four vehicles on Interstate Highway 20 in Crane County Tuesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly crash happened at about 9:25 a.m. Tuesday morning, July 30 along the westbound IH-20 near mile marker 90.

The driver of a 2019 Toyota Tundra, identified as Sean Guy Morris, of Gardendale, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Judge Twilah Ward.
Another driver, a man from Snyder, was seriously injured and was transported to Odessa Medical Center Hospital. The injured driver was operating a 2024 Ram 2500 at the time of the accident.
According to the DPS report, the Ram 2500 was westbound on IH-20 near mile marker 90 while in the inside lane behind the Toyota Tundra. A 2014 Kenworth truck with a towed trailer was also traveling westbound along the inside lane of I-20 in front of the Tundra.
As per the report, the Toyota Tundra was waiting at a standstill behind the Kenworth truck when it was rear-ended by the Ram. The impact pushed the Tundra into the Kenworth trailer while the Ram continued into the outside lane where it collided with a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by 24-year-old Brian Ramos-Portillo of Midland.
The driver of the Toyota Tundra, Sean Morris, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS said, adding that the Ram driver was hospitalized with serious injuries
The driver of the Kenworth, identified as 52-year-old Armando Ernesto Valencia of Goodyear, Arizona, and the driver of the Ford identified as 24-year-old Brian Ramos-Portillo of Midland, were not injured in the incident.
This accident remains under investigation.
