Ector County, TX – Two people were killed early Sunday morning in a wrong-way collision in Ector County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened around 4:45 a.m. on December 7 on State Highway 302 near Farm-to-Market Road 181.
DPS said a 2014 Ford F-150 was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it collided head-on with an eastbound 2017 Hyundai Elantra.
Two passengers in the Hyundai, Sebastian Trevino, 25, of Odessa, and Juan Guerrero, 26, of Odessa, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hyundai driver was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa for treatment. The driver and passenger of the Ford were taken to MCH for treatment. One of them was identified as a 16-year-old.
The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
