San Antonio, TX – The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who died after her vehicle slammed into a semi-truck on I-35 in San Antonio’s Northeast Side as 66-year-old Seong Hui Pluguez.
Pluguez died in the 11:15 p.m. collision on October 7 on Interstate 35 near O’Connor Road on the Northeast Side.
Pluguez was operating a pickup truck that slammed into the areas of a semi-truck and caught fire while pinned under the semi-truck.
Pluguez was declared dead at the scene.

San Antonio, TX – A woman was killed late Monday night after her vehicle slammed into a semi-truck on I-35 in San Antonio, According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The deadly collision happened at about 11:15 p.m. on October 7 on Interstate 35 near O’Connor Road on the Northeast Side.
SAPD said an 18-wheeler was stopped in the roadway due to lane closures along I-35, when a woman, operating a pickup truck, rear-ended the semi-truck and got pinned under.
The police said the pickup truck caught fair after the collision and the woman could not exit the vehicle.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.
The accident remains under investigation.
