Pritchard was ejected from the motorcycle and was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries

Nacogdoches, TX. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Nacogdoches.
According to the Nacogdoches Police Department, the accident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Loop 224 and Highway 7 E.
Shawn Pritchard, 45, of Nacogdoches, was riding a motorcycle northbound on Loop 224 when he collided with a southbound SUV that was making a left turn at the intersection.
Pritchard was ejected from the motorcycle and was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Esparza was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Additional information about the accident was not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
