According to Austin Police, the deadly accident at about 11:09 p.m. on Thursday, August 29 in the 1600 block of North IH-35 northbound.
Round Rock, TX— Austin police have identified the driver who died in a two-vehicle collision last week Thursday in Round Rock as 42-year-old Sherman Johson.

Sherman Johnson Dies After I-35 Two-vehicle Accident Late Thursday Night
According social media post by Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS), two vehicles collided, and one of the drivers, later identified as Sherman Johnson, was pinned inside his vehicle. Johnson was rescued and transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical life-threatening injuries.

Johnson later died in the hospital, Austin Police said.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were not injured in the incident.
The accident remains under investigation.
