Austin, TX – One person was killed and another was arrested Monday night following a DWI accident in southeast Austin, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 9:46 p.m. on September 1 in the eastbound lanes of the 5200 block of E. Ben White Blvd.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, Sheyla Alejandra Mascorro, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that vehicle, Sonia Edith Ramos, was arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
