The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Elgin, TX. – A student was injured in a collision involving a school bus on Thursday evening in Elgin, in Bastrop County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 7 p.m. on US-290 near Christiansen Road.
A school bus that had been converted into an RV had been travelling westbound on 290 when it was rear-ended by a Toyota.
The Toyota remained disabled in the roadway and was struck by an oncoming Elgin ISD school bus.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A student who was the only passenger on the bus was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
