Arlington, TX. – 23-year-old Tariq Muhammad has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a car while riding an electric bicycle in Arlington on Sunday evening.
According to police, the fatal collision happened in the 2400 block of Southwest Green Oaks Boulevard at around 5 p.m.
Muhammad was riding an e-bike in the area and was struck by a pickup truck that was leaving a parking lot.
The man was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
He remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
