Daniel Martin suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Lubbock

Snyder, TX. – A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident that left a man seriously injured on Thursday afternoon near Snyder in Scurry County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on U.S. 84 at Ennis Creek Road.
55-year-old Daniel Martin, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was riding a motorcycle northbound on U.S. 84 when he crashed into the rear of an SUV that had turned onto the highway from Ennis Creek Road.
Daniel suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Lubbock.
His passenger, 50-year-old Theresa Martin, died at the scene.
Police say both were wearing helmets.
The SUV driver was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
