Brownsville, TX – Two people were injured Friday morning in a three-vehicle collision in Brownsville, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened around 6:00 a.m. on October 10 on State Highway 48.
DPS said a vehicle failed to control its speed, causing a chain-reaction collision involving two other vehicles.
Two people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision temporarily closed SH 48 near the Los Lobos Bridge. The roadway has since been reopened.
No further details were available.
The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
