Arlington, TX – The man who was killed early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Arlington has been identified as Walton Yohelis Rios-Vallejos, 32, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened around 3:40 a.m. on November 16 at the intersection of South Cooper Street and Pioneer Parkway.
Police said a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Pioneer Parkway when it ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Ford Explorer that was traveling northbound on South Cooper Street.
The Honda driver, Rios-Vallejos, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the Explorer and two passengers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators were working to determine if speed or intoxication were a factor in the accident.
An investigation is underway.

The fatal accident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on November 16 at the intersection of Cooper Street and Pioneer Parkway.
Police said a 2008 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Pioneer Parkway when it ran a red light at the intersection and hit a 2012 Ford Explorer that was traveling northbound on Cooper Street.
The Civic driver was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.
The Explorer driver and two passengers were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Additional details were not released.
The collision remains under investigation.
