Del Valle, TX – A woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle on New Year’s Day in Del Valle has been identified as 20-year-old Wendi Suzet Gonzalez-Leon.
Wendi Gonzalez-Leon was hit by a 2005 Honda Pilot in the 10800 block of McAngus Road between SH 130 and FM 973, just south of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at about 8:20 p.m. January 1.
Police say Wendi Gonzalez-Leon was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center where she died.

Del Valle, TX – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in Del Valle on New Year’s Day.
According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident happened in the 10800 block of McAngus Road between SH 130 and FM 973 at about 8:20 p.m. January 1.
A 2005 Honda Pilot was heading east on McAngus Road when it collided with a woman in the roadway.
The victim was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
