Grimes County, TX. – 37-year-old Wendy Guillen was hospitalized after being injured in a head-on collision on Tuesday morning in Grimes County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Highway 6 north of County Road 413 at around 12:05 a.m.
A 2018 Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 6 when it collided head-on with a southbound 2024 GMC Sierra pick-up.
Guillen, a resident of Dallas, was driving the Toyota Corolla and was airlifted to Memorial Hermann for treatment of major injuries.
The three occupants of the pick-up truck were not injured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
