Harris County, TX – A woman was critically injured Saturday afternoon in a rear-end collision involving a deputy’s vehicle in Harris County, according to the deputies.
The collision happened on September 6 in the 22300 block of State Highway 249.
Deputies said an HCSO deputy was out of his patrol vehicle tending to a disabled vehicle when his patrol car was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a woman.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. She was possibly impaired and was not wearing a seatbelt.
The deputy was uninjured in the accident.

The deputies are investigating the accident.
