Amarillo, TX – A woman was injured Saturday night in a DWI accident in Amarillo, according to the police.
The collision happened around 8:10 p.m. on October 18 near Austin Street and Wolflin Avenue.
Police said a woman was driving a white Ford when a red truck struck her car.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the red truck, 33-year-old Tre Galvan, an off-duty police officer, was arrested and charged for a Class B DWI. He has been placed on administrative leave.
The police are investigating the accident.
