Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Harry Wurzbach Road and Timberlane Drive

San Antonio, Texas – A woman was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The deadly accident happened just before 10:30 p.m., May 30, at the intersection of Harry Wurzbach Road and Timberlane Drive.
Police said the woman was crossing the street with a shopping cart when she was struck by a vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Witnesses said they saw a white SUV stop after the accident and then flee the scene.
The police are looking for the driver.
An investigation is underway.
