Midland, TX – A 32-year-old Midland woman was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Midland, according to the Midland Police Department.
The fatal collision happened around 12:44 a.m. on August 16 in the 3200 block of North Midland Drive.
Police said a black 1999 Jeep Wrangler was stopped at a red light, attempting to travel northbound, when it was rear-ended by a white 2017 Ford F-250.
The Jeep driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The Ford driver, 40-year-old Gilbert Perez, was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.
The police are investigating the accident.
