Houston, TX – The woman who was killed on Tuesday in a pedestrian accident in southeast Houston has been identified as Xochitl Santos, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on December 23 in the 3500 block of Corder Street.

Police said a man and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument near Highway 288 before they got into their vehicles. The man then started chasing his girlfriend’s gold Toyota sedan with his Chevy Cobalt at a high rate of speed and in an attempt to catch up. He lost control while turning onto the street, and hit Santos, who was standing in her driveway with some of her children.

Santos was taken to the hospital where she later died. She was a mother of four.

The man was arrested at the scene.

The police are investigating the accident.

The deadly accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on December 23 in the 3500 block of Corder Street.
