Alisha Parker Killed in New Boston Pedestrian Accident on SH 8
New Boston, Texas – A woman was killed on New Year’s Eve in a pedestrian accident in New Boston, according to the Texas DPS.
The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., December 31, on South State Highway 8.
DPS said Alisha McCuller Parker, 44, of New Boston, was crossing the road when she was struck by a northbound 2023 Chevy Trax SUV driven by a 53-year-old woman from Maud.
Parker was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured in the crash.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
