Armstrong was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene

Amarillo, TX. – 43-year-old Allen Alexander Armstrong has been identified as the man who died in a car crash in Amarillo on Monday afternoon.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, the accident happened on West Amarillo Boulevard at around 2:30 p.m.
The man was driving a tan 2003 GMC Yukon westbound when it suddenly left the roadway to the south.
The driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Armstrong was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.
APD is investigating the cause of the accident.
