Richardson, TX – The authorities have identified the people killed late Thursday night traffic collision on North Central Expressway as 19-year-old Alyia Khalid, 27-year-old Haley Taylor, and Taylor’s 6-year-old daughter.
Khalid and her family members and friends were standing outside their stalled Cadillac in the HOV lane of the highway when a Lexus SUV rear-ended their Cadillac. Khalid died at the scene.
A Dodge sedan then rear-ended the Lexus. A Nissan sedan was also hit by a Dodge and an 18-wheeler that was passing through the scene of the collision.
The driver of the Lexus SUV, later identified as Haley Taylor, and her 6-year-old daughter were transported to a hospital where they died.
Authorities said up to 11 other people were injured in the collision.

Richardson, TX – Three people are dead and several others are injured following a chain reaction involving several vehicles on North Central Expressway in Richardson late Thursday night on October 31.
According to Richardson police, the collision happened just before midnight on southbound US-75 near President George Bush Turnpike.
A preliminary investigation revealed that six family members and friends were standing outside their Cadillac SUV after it stalled in the HOV lane.
Police say a driver of a Lexus SUV then rear-ended the Cadillac, killing one of the six family members, and causing a chain reaction involving at least seven vehicles including an 18-wheeler, according to Richardson police.
The driver of the Lexus and her 6-year-old daughter were injured and were taken to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities said at least 11 other people sustained minor or serious injuries in the accident.
Reports indicate that their entire family was visiting Dallas from Nashville.
The highway was shut down for several hours and was reopened by 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 1.
The incident remains under investigation.
