The fatal collision happened at about 6:25 a.m. on January 31 on State Highway 302 near mile marker 214.

Winkler County, TX – A Midland man was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Winkler County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened at about 6:25 a.m. on January 31 on State Highway 302 near mile marker 214.
DPS said a GMC Sierra was traveling westbound on the highway when it veered into the eastbound lane, for unknown reasons, and crashed into a 2025 Ford F-250.
The GMC driver, 26-year-old Angel Galindo of Midland, was taken to Winkler Memorial Hospital, where he later died. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
The Ford driver sustained minor injuries. They were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
