Clyde, TX – The two siblings who were killed Sunday afternoon in a train collision in Clyde have been identified as Brileigh Janae Dailey, 19, of Baird, and Kyler Dailey, 16, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision happened around 2:45 p.m. on February 1 on FM 18 near CR 243.
DPS said Brileigh and Kyler were in a 1994 Ford F-150 pickup truck and were exiting a private driveway that crosses the railroad tracks. The driver, Kyler, failed to yield to an approaching train, and the train struck the Ford. The train pushed the Ford off the tracks, where it burst into flames.
Brileigh and Kyler were pronounced dead at the scene.
The train crew was uninjured in the accident.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
