The fatal collision happened around 3:00 p.m. on September 13 on Interstate 20 eastbound at mile marker 85.

Ward County, TX – A woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Ward County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision happened around 3:00 p.m. on September 13 on Interstate 20 eastbound at mile marker 85.
DPS said a 2020 Ford Fusion and a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia with a trailer were traveling eastbound. The Freightliner, which was in the right lane, was traveling slowly due to stopped traffic from a previous accident.
The driver of the Fusion, which was traveling in the left lane, took evasive action to the right and struck the Freightliner’s trailer.
The Fusion driver, Brittini Taylor Ramsey, 33, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The Freightliner driver, Kristi Kay Morell, 55, of Seymour, was uninjured in the accident.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
