Houston, TX – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a multi-car accident in Houston, according to the police.
The fatal collision happened around 12:45 a.m. on January 17 in the 1000 block of Travis Street.
Police said Johnathan Ordonez, 30, had taken a white Ford Edge in a robbery and was driving it northbound in the 2700 block at a high rate of speed. He rear-ended a white Kia Soul and then hit a maroon Toyota Tundra.
The force of the impact caused the Kia to flip on its roof.
David Nken Njock, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Toyota driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ordonez was arrested and charged with murder.
The police are investigating the accident.
