Deborah Henton hit and killed by a car on Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur

Port Arthur, TX. – 70-year-old Deborah Henton died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Beaumont.
According to the Port Arthur Police Department, the accident happened around 10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Gulfway Drive.
A vehicle reportedly struck the woman in unclear circumstances.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures on Henton, who succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
