Crockett, TX – A Houston County deputy and another driver were injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Crockett, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred on June 26, in the area of Highway 287 North and FM 2423.
Authorities said Deputy Weston Reeves was driving his patrol truck when another vehicle ran a stop sign and struck the patrol vehicle.
The patrol vehicle spun and rolled over after the collision.
Reeves was taken to a Crockett hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was treated and released at the scene.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
