Cross Roads, TX – A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with an ambulance in Cross Roads, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision happened on June 18, at the intersection of FM424 and Fishtrap Road.
Authorities said an Aubrey Fire Department ambulance was responding to an emergency on U.S. Highway 377. It was running emergency lights and sirens at the intersection when it collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle, Dontarianna Neria Zatrice Boyd, 23, was taken to Medical City Denton where she later died. Two passengers in the same vehicle were taken to Medical City Denton with non-life-threatening injuries.
The paramedics in the ambulance were uninjured in the accident.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
