Plano, TX – Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash on 14th Street in Plano on Saturday evening.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. on May 3 in the 3500 block of 14th Street.
Elvin Bonilla and Carmina Ramirez ID’d as 2 Killed in Plano Motorcycle Collision
According to the police, 21-year-old Elvin Bonilla was riding a motorcycle westbound on 14th Street.
At the same time, a pickup truck, operated by a 33-year-old male, was heading eastbound on 14th.
Investigators say the pickup driver tried to turn northbound onto Del Sol Drive and the motorcycle slammed into the passenger side of the pickup.
Bonilla and his passenger, identified as 58-year-old Carmina Ramirez, suffered serious injuries.
The two were transported to the hospital where they died.
The pickup driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police said speed appears to be a contributing factor in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
