Ernest Maxey struck and killed by car on Texas 90 in Navasota

Navasota, TX. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle last Tuesday in Navasota.
According to the Navasota Police Department, the accident happened on Texas 90 just east of Navasota High School.
43-year-old Ernest Maxey of Navasota was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The man died at the accident scene.
The driver who struck the man stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
