Jaime Betancourt Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on North Freeway

Houston, Texas – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash in Houston, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 12:25 a.m., February 24, in the 6500 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said 26-year-old Jaime Betancourt, of Houston, was riding a black Yamaha YZF motorcycle northbound on the freeway when he failed to maintain control of his speed and rear-ended a white Dodge Challenger.

A third vehicle, a black Chevrolet Malibu, hit debris scattered on the road.

Betancourt was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the Challenger and the Malibu remained at the scene and were questioned and released.

No other injuries were reported.

The police are investigating the crash.
