Terrell, TX – The man who was struck and killed by a train early Wednesday morning in Terrell has been identified as 41-year-old James Earl Davis III, of Terrell, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 5:19 a.m. on September 17 on Gardner Street.
Police said a Union Pacific Railroad train struck Davis on the tracks.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident temporarily closed several railroad crossings, but they have been reopened.
