Franklin, TX – One person was killed on Monday in a two-vehicle collision in Franklin, according to the authorities.
The fatal collision occurred on September 15 on FM 1940.
Authorities said a 2003 Chevy Malibu was traveling northbound when the driver veered into the southbound lane in a no-passing zone and hit a 2021 Ford F-250.
The Malibu driver, James Lohse, 51, of Planersville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver was taken to a Bryan hospital with minor injuries.
The collision closed a stretch of FM 1940.
No additional information was available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
