The deadly accident happened around 9:35 p.m., July 3, in the 500 block of FM 1959 Road.

Houston, TX. – A man was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 9:35 p.m., July 3, in the 500 block of FM 1959 Road.
Police said a blue Honda Odyssey was traveling southbound when it struck James Morris, 72, who was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk.
Odyssey was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Honda driver, a 59-year-old man, remained at the scene, was not intoxicated, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
