James Wallace was taken to Mitchell County Hospital where he died while receiving treatment

Mitchell County, TX. – 63-year-old James Edward Wallace, of Westbrook, was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened on Tuesday evening in Mitchell County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 4:23 p.m. on Business Interstate Highway 20 at mile marker 346.
Wallace was riding a 2010 Honda Goldwing motorcycle and was attempting to pass a 2011 Volkswagen Golf operated by John Keneth Kendrick, 72, of Colorado City.
The Volkswagen was making a left turn when it struck a motorcycle.
Wallace was taken to Mitchell County Hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
