The deadly accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on August 21 at the intersection of Southeast Military Drive and Old Corpus Christi near South Presa Street.

San Antonio, TX – The woman who was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s South Side has been identified as 33-year-old Jeanette Espitia, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on August 21 at the intersection of Southeast Military Drive and Old Corpus Christi near South Presa Street.
Authorities Espitia and her unborn child were crossing the street with a young child when she was struck by a sedan.
The young child was uninjured in the accident.
Espitia was taken to the hospital, where she later died. She leaves behind three young children.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.

San Antonio, TX – A woman was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on August 21 at the intersection of Southeast Military Drive and Old Corpus Christi.
Police said the woman was attempting to cross SE Military Drive, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound Dodge Caliber.
The woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.
The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
