The fatal collision happened around 2:20 a.m. on September 14 at the intersection of FM 1382 and West Camp Wisdom Road.

Dallas, TX – The man who was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Dallas has been identified as Joab Acosta, 41, according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office.
The fatal collision happened around 2:20 a.m. on September 14 at the intersection of FM 1382 and West Camp Wisdom Road.
Police said two vehicles were slowing down as they approached a traffic light on the road. Acosta was driving at a high rate of speed when he hit the middle vehicle that was slowing down. The impact pushed that vehicle into the other vehicle in front.
Acosta was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The occupants in the middle car were taken to the hospital for treatment. The occupants of the first car had minor injuries.
The police are investigating the accident.
