John Cryan Killed in NE El Paso Three-Vehicle Crash on Dyer Street at Tetons Drive; Nadean Lopez Arrested

El Paso, Texas – A man was killed early Sunday morning and a woman was arrested following a three-vehicle crash in Northeast El Paso, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 12:37 a.m., February 11, in the 8500 block of Dyer Street at the intersection of Tetons Drive.

Police said 22-year-old Nadean Lopez was driving a 2018 Ford Focus when she rear-ended a 1988 Nissan Maxima, which was at a red light at the intersection.

The impact propelled the Maxima into the intersection where it was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The Maxima driver, John Cryan, 50, of northeast El Paso, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lopez and the other driver were uninjured in the crash.

Lopez was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on intoxication manslaughter charges. She was being held on a $205,000 bond.

The police are investigating the crash.
