Groesbeck, TX – Two people were killed and another was injured Thursday morning in a two-car accident near Groesbeck, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision occurred around 8:00 a.m. on July 24 at the intersection of FM 39 and State Highway 164.
DPS said a Dodge Ram failed to stop and drove into the intersection, where it crashed into a Honda.
The Honda driver, Jordan Trexler, 31, and the passenger, Sheila Rutledge, 55, both of Groesbeck, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dodge driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
