The fatal collision happened around 2:45 a.m. on September 21 on State Highway 94 in front of Fiesta Mexicana.

Hudson, TX – A Burke man was killed and two other people were injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Hudson, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal collision happened around 2:45 a.m. on September 21 on State Highway 94 in front of Fiesta Mexicana.
DPS said Alexis Lowery, 26, of Moscow, was driving a 2017 Ram 2500 eastbound while Jose Escobar Jr., 27, of Diboll, was driving a 2021 Volkswagen Jetta in an unknown direction.
The Ram and the Jetta collided in the westbound lane.
Lowery was taken to Memorial with non-life-threatening injuries.
Escobar Jr. was taken to St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin with life-threatening injuries.
A passenger in the Jetta, Jose Amaya, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision closed the highway for more than six hours.
No other information was available.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
