Ezequiel Villarreal injured in two-car accident on FM 1151 in Amarillo

Randall County, TX. – A man was killed in a head-on collision that left another injured on Saturday night in Amarillo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision happened on FM 1151 at around 10 p.m.
Julio Guerra, 74, of Amarillo, Texas, was driving a vehicle on the highway when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a vehicle operated by Ezequiel Villarreal, 25, also from Amarillo.
Guerra was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Villarreal was hospitalized with minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
