San Angelo, TX – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in San Angelo, according to the police.
The accident happened around 3:00 p.m., June 30, on East 19th Street and Pecan Street.
Police said a Chevy Blazer was traveling eastbound when the driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to cross over the center line and hit a GMC Sierra that was traveling westbound on 19th Street.
A juvenile was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Chevy driver was cited for driving left of center while the GMC driver was cited for failing to have a driver’s license.
The police are investigating the accident.
