Raymond McCain III hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after truck accident on Texas Avenue in Bridge City

Bridge City, TX. – A truck driver was killed in a rear-end collision on Tuesday morning in Bridge City.
According to the police, the accident happened around 5:14 a.m. in the 500 block of Texas Avenue.
48-year-old Keith Kuffler was driving a 2016 Freightliner north on Texas Avenue when he slammed into the back of a 2013 Peterbilt hauling a tanker trailer.
Kuffler was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the 2013 Peterbilt, 30-year-old Raymond McCain III., was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information has been released.
Police are investigating the accident.
