The accident happened around 12:10 a.m. on July 18 in the 800 block of Avenue Q.

Lubbock, TX – The motorcyclist who was seriously injured early Friday morning in a traffic collision in Central Lubbock has been identified as 57-year-old Kenneth Duonola, according to the police.
The accident happened around 12:10 a.m. on July 18 in the 800 block of Avenue Q.
Police said Duonola was riding a motorcycle northbound when he failed to control his speed and rear-ended a pickup truck that was traveling in front of him.
Duonola was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
No one in the pickup truck was injured in the collision.
