The Orange Park man was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene

Amarillo, TX. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday morning in Amarillo.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 7:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Hope Road.
Kevin Jackson, 51, was riding a motorcycle in the area when he lost control and struck a cable carrier.
The Orange Park man was ejected and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the motorcycle accident is ongoing.
