According to DPS, the deadly collision occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. on January 31 on Highway 290 at Berlin Road, just west of Brenham in Washington County

Brenham, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man Friday morning near Brenham.
According to DPS, the deadly collision occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. on January 31 on Highway 290 at Berlin Road, just west of Brenham in Washington County
DPS said a 2019 Toyota Camry was stopped on Berlin Road facing south when the driver, pulled out while trying to turn left onto Highway 290 and was struck by a 1998 Freightliner truck-tractor semi-trailer that was going west on 290.
The driver of the Camry sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation and no additional information is available.
