The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on September 24 at the intersection of Quintana Road and West Southcross Boulevard.

San Antonio, TX – A 48-year-old man was injured Wednesday morning in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to the police.
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on September 24 at the intersection of Quintana Road and West Southcross Boulevard.
Police said a man stepped into the roadway, outside of a designated crosswalk, when he was struck by a car that was traveling southbound through the intersection.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The car driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The police are investigating the accident.
